Murakami Kenichi (born 1929)

A multi-award winner artist, from a well-known family of wood craftsmen. Murakami Kenichi began training and creating Sosaku Kokeshi in the 50s. He primarily creates dolls with minimal decoration, on the theme of a child’s innocence.
