Takeda Masashi (born 1930)

Takeda ventured in Sosaku (creative) world and created free from kokeshi. His kokeshi have a unique style, with rich darkwood tone and carved flowers. Minimal use of paint, showcasing the actual texture of the wood selected for each piece.
